Mitt Romney, stiff? "I guess we better unzip him and let the real Mitt Romney out," Ann Romney quipped during a radio interview today. The candidate's good-humored wife laughed through her answer, after host Clarence Mitchell IV asked whether she wanted to contest the notion that Mitt "appears stiff," CNN reports. She went on to call Mitt "funny," "engaging," and "always playing jokes. ... When I met him when I was a teenager he was the life of the party."
While we're stooping, here's another Republican low-light: An upcoming e-book from Politico claims that Rick Perry likes to hum a good tune while, ah, relieving himself in the men's room, reports Gawker. A rival campaign manager was standing at a urinal "when he heard someone come through the door loudly singing 'I've Been Working on the Railroad.' Wondering who was making all the noise, the campaign manager turned his head and saw, to his surprise, the governor of Texas." A campaign official later said, "He whistles.
