Whitney Houston's final autopsy report is out, filling in a few more unpleasant details about how she died. TMZ presents two telling quotes from the report:
- "Located on the south portion of the counter was a small spoon with a white crystal-like substance in it and a rolled up piece of white paper, along with other miscellaneous items."
- "Located in the top drawer, in the north side of the counter were remnants of a white powdery substance, and a portable mirror on a base." (Traces were found on that base, too.)
The report does not explicitly name the substance as cocaine, notes AP, though the singer had the drug in her system when she died, along with marijuana, Xanax, and Benadryl. Houston "possibly overdosed on a narcotic substance, prescription medications, over the counter medications and alcohol," says the report. She had complained of a sore throat earlier in the day, and an assistant suggested she take a bath. She was later found face down in about a foot of water. (More Whitney Houston stories.)
