Rick Santorum is off the campaign trail today to be with his 3-year-old daughter, who was hospitalized last week. His campaign says Isabella, who has the rare genetic condition Trisomy 18, is getting better and could leave the Virginia facility today, the AP notes. Meanwhile, Mitt Romney's campaign has ditched a negative ad against the former senator that was set to air in Pennsylvania. Romney's team made the move "out of deference to Sen. Santorum's decision to suspend his campaign for personal family reasons"—though Santorum hasn't actually suspended the campaign. He'll be back on the trail tomorrow, CNN reports.
