Clinton Gets In on Text Meme Joke

The "Texts from Hillary" blog just got some text from Hillary. The Tumblr blog has garnered much attention for its meme series featuring fake texts from Clinton, playing off a wire photo of her with her Blackberry. Now the secretary herself is in on the joke. She posted one of her own on the blog: "ROFL @ ur tumblr! g2g—scrunchie time. ttyl?" The post, which also compliments one of the bloggers on his phone self-portrait, or "selfie," has been a Twitter sensation, the Washington Post reports.

Meanwhile, the blog's creators—a pair of DC communications workers—got to meet Clinton, whom they call "a force to be reckoned with." "She was very friendly and gracious and she told us how much she liked the site," says blogger Adam Smith. He and Stacy Lambe started the site "on a whim," Smith notes.
