The final winner of the record $656 million Mega Millions jackpot has come forward, and unlike in other states, the Illinois winner won't be able to stay anonymous. The winner's identity will be revealed tomorrow at a press conference in Red Bud, the small southern Illinois town where the ticket was purchased at a gas station, AP reports. He/she will be presented a check for $218.6 million. In Maryland, three friends who work in the public school system shared another winning ticket. No details have been revealed about the Kansas winner, other than the fact that he or she is "looking forward to retirement." (More Mega Millions stories.)
