You can't say they didn't warn her: A woman collapsed at the Heart Attack Grill this weekend, just two months after the last time someone had a heart attack at the cheerfully morbid Las Vegas eatery. The woman was whisked away by paramedics and her condition is currently unknown. Owner Jon Basso tells the LA Times that he hopes she's OK, but that she knew what she was getting into. "We attract an avant-garde clientele," he says: "Thrill seekers, risk takers."
The Heart Attack Grill makes no secret that its food is dangerously unhealthy; indeed Basso intends to openly advertise that his Quadruple Bypass Burger has just been certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's most caloric, at 9,993 calories. The woman who collapsed "was eating, drinking, smoking, laughing, dancing, having fun," he says.
