Delta Airlines has decided to pull its ads from the Daily Show, prompting a round of gloating from the Catholic League, BuzzFeed reports. The Catholic League is still angry about a bit last month in which Stewart joked that if women wanted to get Fox News to take the "War on Women" as seriously as it takes the "War on Christmas," maybe they should use "vagina mangers" to protect themselves from unwanted medical intrusions.
Now the League is declaring victory over Delta's departure—even though the airline insists its decision had nothing to do with "any opinions expressed" on the show. League head Bill Donohue says their next target will be Kellogg's, which supporters will bombard with letters and images. "Today, all the top management at Kellogg’s will receive a color photo of a naked woman with her legs spread and a nativity scene ornament in between," he says. "Let’s see if that jars them."
