Bristol: Stop Bullying Me, Internet

Bristol Palin just learned the hard way that darkness can lurk in Internet comment threads. It seems Palin's post criticizing President Obama's gay-marriage stance upset more than a few people, and they let her know it in no uncertain terms. In a new blog post, spotted by the New York Daily News, Palin re-posts some of the worst comments, saying that "the only word that really sums them up is 'bullying.'"

"bristol: kill yourself you fat f--k," reads one comment. "you are offensively stupid," reads another, "you're an argument for abortion. your child would be better off without you to 'guide' it through life." Still another tells her that "You all, including your son, deserve a slow, painful, and miserable death." Palin is appalled. "Around Hollywood there's lots of … great initiatives to try to encourage more kindness in the world," she writes. "Then why do I get so many messages telling me I should die?"
