People who have famously appeared at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum: 1932 and 1984 Olympic athletes, JFK, countless USC Trojans football players, and the cast of Gangbang Girl #32. Turns out a group-sex scene that clocks in at a full 40 minutes was filmed there in 2001, right in the middle of USC's football season, reports the Los Angeles Times. Though the paper uncovered the setting of the released-in-2002 video, it seems to present more questions than answers.

The Times isn't sure who gave the crew the OK to use the taxpayer-owned (and typically locked) stadium or its lighting. But it did conduct a number of interviews, with somewhat amusing results. A rep for the California attorney general's office, for instance, admitted to being unsure whether pornos can be legally shot on state property. The film's quarterback, who goes by Mr. Marcus, confirmed the four-hour shoot and called it "one of those once-in-a-lifetime types of opportunities." A lawyer for the coliseum's top exec at the time calls the news "disgusting," and says Patrick Lynch wasn't involved. But the Times notes that Lynch and several others were indicted after the paper's investigation revealed alleged kickbacks and financial irregularities at the coliseum. (More LA Coliseum stories.)
