The crashed remains of a helicopter that had gone missing was found yesterday in Peru, 16,000 feet up a mountain, reports the BBC. All 14 on board are dead. The helicopter, which went missing after leaving the western Amazon on Wednesday, apparently "crashed and exploded," says a police commander on the scene. "Everyone died in the initial impact because everything is burned and scattered." The helicopter was carrying mostly South Korean businessmen who were looking at a potential hydro-electric project, as well as a Dutch citizen, a Czech, a Swede, and a Peruvian. (More Peru stories.)
