Yesterday, he had apparently gone into "full coma" mode and was having his heart jolted. But today, Hosni Mubarak is apparently well enough to eat jelly. State media reported that he actually got back on the light-foods diet yesterday (citing, specifically, jelly), and was taken outside the prison hospital to get a spot of sun. A prison official today told Reuters that Mubarak's condition is now "stable"; another source said he would be enjoying visitors today.

No word on whether Mubarak's lawyer is backpedaling on his earlier proclamation that his client's situation was "very critical" and needed to be dealt with at a private hospital. (More Hosni Mubarak stories.)
