No word on whether Bill Clinton and his sax will be making an appearance, but it's about to feel like 1992 again all the same. Arsenio Hall is returning to late-night, reveals the Hollywood Reporter. The former Arsenio Hall Show host has joined forces with CBSTV (which rose from the ashes of Paramount Domestic Television, which handled his previous show's run). No title has been released, but some details have been firmed up: It'll enter the late-night field in fall 2013 and run Monday through Friday at 11pm ET. It's already gotten the thumbs up from 52% of the country's markets.
Who is it going after? You, if you happened to be an 18- to 34-year-old viewer during Hall's last go-round. His "substantial following ... is now right in the middle of the late-night core audience of 35-54," explains CBSTV's president. No "Whoop Whoop Whoop" from Hall, though he does seem pretty jazzed: "It's an amazing feeling to be going home to my old friends and colleagues and firing up our 'Night Thing.'
