Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee has set off a feverish debate among fans with an f-bomb-laden Facebook diatribe against pushy people who demand he take a photo with them. As spotted by the Hollywood Reporter, Lee's post includes this rant:
- "Irritates the f --- out of me when people say...you owe it to your fans, they put you where you are, etc etc! I certainly dont owe anybody anything! When I bought all my Led Zeppelin records and concert tickets I didn’t say 'one day these f------ are gonna owe me a picture' It’s the least they can do for me!...wtf people?"
Lee contends the only thing he owes his fans is to be good musician, and that doesn't cover having a quiet dinner interrupted by some "rude jackass" wielding a camera. "I’m not here to take pictures with you, I’m here to entertain you!" The post has generated more than 2,000 comments so far, some castigating him for whining and others saying he's on the mark.
