The body of Eva Rausing, one of the richest women in Britain, was found in her London home Monday, and her husband Hans Kristian Rausing, heir to the Tetra Pak packaging firm fortune, has been arrested in connection with the death. Authorities said that a 49-year-old man was busted on suspicion of drug possession, and that a subsequent search of the Rausings' home led to the discovery of Eva's body. Though they haven't officially named Hans Kristian Rausing as the man in question, the Guardian says that's indeed who it is; he was re-arrested later in connection with the still-unexplained death of his wife.

American-born Eva and her husband had both struggled with drug addiction; in fact, they met at a US rehab facility. Eva was arrested in 2008 for allegedly attempting to smuggle crack cocaine and heroin into the US Embassy in London, and a subsequent search of the couple's home uncovered cocaine, crack, and heroin. Drug possession charges were eventually dropped in favor of a warning, and the couple was required to attend a rehab program. But Eva had also strongly supported charities that fight addiction, the AP reports. The Rausings have four teen children. (More Eva Rausing stories.)
