We learned yesterday that Steven Tyler is out, and now Jennifer Lopez has made it official, too, reports TMZ. Considering previous rumors that Randy Jackson also is leaving, the New York Post notes that American Idol could soon find itself without any of its three judges. Who could replace them? Mariah Carey is the name being thrown around the most, but other rumored possibilities include former Idol runner-up Adam Lambert, Black Eyed Peas member Fergie, and take-it-with-a-grain-of-salt possibility Charlie Sheen.

"I honestly feel like the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do," Lopez told Ryan Seacrest today, after hinting as much in an interview with the AP yesterday. As for Jackson, Us quotes a source who says the only remaining original Idol judge is leaving the judge's chair but will still be involved as a mentor on the show. Meanwhile, sources tell Fox News Tyler probably made his decision to leave after feeling pressure from Aerosmith to make a choice between the band and the show. (More Jennifer Lopez stories.)
