That Bible in your hotel dresser drawer not doing it for you? Check in to England’s Damson Dene Hotel, where the religious texts in all 40 rooms have all been replaced with … soft-core porn. That’s right, instead of the Gideon Bible, you’ll find Fifty Shades of Grey in your nightstand. Hotel owner Jonathan Denby has actually been thinking of ousting the Bibles ever since purchasing the hotel from a Methodist group, he explains to NBC News.

“I was thinking originally of putting in a book by Ayn Rand—Atlas Shrugged was my first thought,” he says. “(But) because everybody is reading Fifty Shades of Grey, we thought it would be a hospitable thing to do, to have this available for our guests, especially if some of them were a little bit shy about buying it because of its reputation.” The local vicar, not surprisingly, has complained in the local media about the switch, but Denby still offers Bibles upon request.
