The apology didn't work. Hunky Robert Pattinson has packed his bags and left the Los Angeles "love nest" he shared with Kristen Stewart, reports People. "I'm not sure they'll be able to recover from this," says a source, referring to Stewart's fling with Snow White director Rupert Sanders. Pattinson, 26, is "heartbroken and angry," says the source.

The 22-year-old actress, who tried desperately to salvage her three-year relationship with Pattinson with an emotional apology, was spotted outside her home yesterday in "ratty gym shorts" looking "somber," reports the New York Daily News.
