Kristen Stewart's personal life is in shambles, but so far her professional life does not appear to be affected: Vulture reports that the Twilight actress has scored the lead in Lie Down In Darkness, the film adaptation of a 1951 William Styron novel, a part that Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence had also hoped to land. Stewart will play Peyton Loftis in the film directed by Scott Cooper, who also directed Crazy Heart.

But it's not all rosy: The fate of the planned Snow White and the Huntsman sequel is still not clear, since director Rupert Sanders—Stewart's cheating partner—is slated to return. But Radar reports that his wife is putting the kibosh on that. The gossip site also reports more bad news for Kristen: She's been banned from the premiere of Robert Pattinson's new film, Cosmopolis. "Robert just doesn’t want to see her," says a source. (More Kristen Stewart stories.)
