Clint Eastwood's decidedly odd convention speech with an imaginary President Obama sitting next to him taking questions and offering obscene suggestions has electrified the Twitterverse—and inspired an Internet meme. Within hours some 35,000 followers were eating up brand new Twitter account @InvisibleObama, notes Mashable. Invisible Obama apparently didn't seem to come up with any good answers to Eastwood's grilling about Afghanistan and jobs—if we could take Clint at his word. The president's only imaginary contribution appeared to be an obscene suggestion about what Clint—and Mitt Romney—should go do to themselves. "What do you want me to tell Romney?" Clint asked Invisible Obama. "I can’t tell him to do that. I can’t tell him to do that to himself."

Viewers couldn't quite decide if the ad-libbed ramble by the 82-year-old actor/director was appalling or thrillingly crazed. The Washington Post's Chris Cillizza said the speech "bordered on downright incoherence several times," and Time magazine called it a "train wreck" by a "rambling old dude." Yahoo News skewered it as a "fistful of incoherence," and "every which way and loose," but kind of ... fantastic. Still confused? Check the speech out here. And see Obama's cheeky response here.
