A man carrying a duffel bag may have been at two of three connected murder scenes in Brooklyn, and now police want to talk to the man they're calling "John Doe Duffel Bag," the New York Post reports. The balding, mustachioed man was spotted on surveillance video near the store where Rahmatollah Vahidipour was shot dead Friday, and he may also be seen in a video from around the time and place Isaac Kadare was killed in August. So far, he has not been connected to the third murder, of Mohammed Gebeli in July.

All three men, Brooklyn store owners of Middle Eastern descent, were killed by the same gun. "The duffel-bag guy could be a perp, or he could be a witness," says a law enforcement source, who speculates the murderer watched his targets for weeks. "He’s very calculating and methodical. He’s going to these places numerous times over extended periods of times ... casing them out." The FBI's serial-killer profilers are now on the case too, and a reward for information about the murderer is at $84,000. Click for more on the three murders, which share a creepy similarity.
