Drunk Driver in Search of Walmart Deal Hits 2: Police
Two were injured in a Walmart parking lot last night.   (TM)

Black Thursday shopping proved to be a treacherous affair for a Seattle-area couple, who were hit by an SUV in a Walmart parking lot last night. Police say the 71-year-old behind the wheel was suspected of driving drunk to the store in search of a Black Friday deal. But instead of walking away with a bargain, he was arrested for vehicular assault after hitting the pair as they were walking near the entrance of the Covington Walmart around 8pm, reports the Post-Intelligencer. The 45-year-old woman was pinned under his Mercury SUV, and "the man rolled up onto the hood [and] onto the ground," says a police sergeant. (More Black Friday stories.)
