The latest request submitted to the White House's "We the People" website: an effort to get British CNN host Piers Morgan deported "immediately" for "attacking [the] 2nd amendment." More than 31,500 people have signed the petition thus far, ostensibly angered by the host's call for tighter gun control. The AP reports that last week he called a gun advocate appearing on Piers Morgan Tonight an "unbelievably stupid man." The petition argues that Morgan "is engaged in a hostile attack against the US Constitution" and demands Morgan be sent packing due to "his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens." The AP notes that the petition has passed the 25,000-signature threshold, so the White House will be forced to respond to it. Read These Next White House rolls with Trump's 'daddy' nickname.
