Quentin Tarantino's Civil-War-era Django Unchained is getting good reviews from critics and audiences alike, but don't count Spike Lee in the thumbs-up camp. "I can't speak on it 'cause I'm not gonna see it," he tells Vibe. "All I'm going to say is that it's disrespectful to my ancestors." That's more restrained than an earlier tweet in which he called US slavery a "holocaust" that should not be treated like a "Sergio Leone Spaghetti Western." E! Online notes that's there's no love lost between the two directors, with Lee previously calling out Tarantino for excessive use of the n-word. (More Spike Lee stories.)
