Not only has Tina Fey kept her edgy self away from Twitter, she wants most of us to do the same: "I think you should have to get a license to use Twitter because most people are so f--king boring that they should shut up," she says in a short NBC video. She even offers to oversee licenses for those allowed to post tweets. Mashable reports on the rest of her anti-Twitter ramblings:
- "Do you have to say happy birthday to another person in front of the whole world? Just f--king email that person."
- "Why do you be like, 'Hey Girl, I loved your outfit yesterday.' Just contact that person. You’re wasting the Internets or something. ... It’s gonna hurt the ozone. I don’t know."
- "Do you understand how boring this would be if I was tweeting this?"
- It's OK, however, "if you're tweeting about an episode of TV that you saw, like if it was 30 Rock. Otherwise, no, no."
