It hasn't been a great month for Taylor Swift: She lost her latest boyfriend, lost a potential Golden Globe to Adele (and looked pretty unhappy about it), and now Radar reports that she also lost a chance to snag the next guy on her list. Seems Swift had a little crush on Bradley Cooper, and asked her friend and Cooper's Silver Linings Playbook co-star Jennifer Lawrence to hook the two of them up. But when Lawrence talked to Cooper, he shot down the idea. Awkward.
"First of all, her reputation precedes her. Bradley is very wary of dating someone who is a bit of a serial dater like Taylor," a source explains. Plus, "he thinks she's far too young for him." He also thinks Lawrence herself is too young for him: Rumors had been swirling that the co-stars were an item, but at the Golden Globes Cooper was quick to shoot them down. "That's very funny," the 38-year-old told Entertainment Tonight. "First of all, I could be her father. ... She's amazing, but no." (More Taylor Swift stories.)
