It's Never Wise to Flip Off the Judge in Court

It should have been a routine bond hearing on a minor drug charge, but Florida's Penelope Soto has instead become a viral video star for all the wrong reasons, reports the Miami Herald. The 18-year-old wasn't taking the proceeding too seriously, smiling and laughing as the Miami-Dade judge asked her questions. When she called out "Adios!" as she left, he called her back and doubled her bond to $10,000. That finally got her attention. She walked away, flipped him the bird, and uttered an expletive.
