Tomorrow marks the Chinese New Year, and the BBC provides this nugget to give a sense of just how big of a deal it is: So many people head home to celebrate in Asia that it's considered to be the biggest mass migration on the planet. The celebration, also called the Lunar New Year, marks the end of the Year of the Dragon in China and the beginning of the Year of the Snake. This year's festivities might be lower-key than usual, reports AP, because authorities in Beijing have asked people to shoot off fewer fireworks to cut down on pollution.
