Guests at the Hotel Cecil thought something was up with the water supply. It had been dribbling out of faucets and showers for days. Now, they know why: There was a dead body in the water tank. The LA County Department of Public Health has been testing the hotel's water supply, and will release the results today, the AP reports. "Our biggest concern is going to be fecal contamination," an official says, though he added that the chance of contamination is "minimal."

He said the department has also required the city to hire a water treatment specialist to disinfect its pipes. But no matter the results of the test or the new precautions, guests have a bad taste in their mouth. "The moment we found out, we felt a bit sick to the stomach," says one guest, "quite literally."
