If there are four big networks and you finish fifth in the ratings, that's not good, right? Such is the fate of NBC in the February sweeps, reports Deadline. In the 20-day period, it had an average rating of 1.2 among the 18-49 set, which trails not only CBS (4.9), Fox (2.0), and ABC (1.7)—but Univision (1.5) as well. This would be NBC's first last-place finish in a sweeps period, along with Univision's highest finish. CBS got help from the Super Bowl and Grammys, while NBC got sunk by duds such as Do No Harm and 1600 Penn, writes Dominic Patten. The Huffington Post has more—under a "must-flee TV" banner on the home page. In fairness, it notes that NBC actually won the November sweeps. (More TV ratings stories.)
