A new revelation supports the theory that the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas was involved in the murders of two of the state's prosecutors: Texas authorities issued a bulletin in December that warned the white supremacist gang was looking to retaliate against law enforcement officials in a way that would result in "mass casualties or death," reports ABC News.

It asserted that the group was "proactively working toward developing personal information about officers" involved in the November arrest of 34 of its members; 10 face the death penalty. However, the bulletin noted that the plan was "designed to be carried out when law enforcement officers are at large gatherings." The two murdered prosecutors, Mark Hasse and Mike McLelland, were not killed in such crowds, but both were involved in the investigation. Investigators are also focusing on a former local official.
