A wild revelation from the brother of Jeff Bauman, who was captured in a now-iconic photo in the wake of the bombing: After having both legs amputated and while still under heavy sedation, brother Chris says Bauman "asked for a paper and pen and wrote, 'bag, saw the guy, looked right at me.'" As Bloomberg reports, just two and a half minutes before Bauman's legs were blown off, he looked right at one of the bombers and saw him dropping off a bag, according to his brother.

Bauman reportedly gave the FBI a detailed description of the man, even while he was still in intensive care—a description that Chris says helped investigators hone their search as they reviewed video footage. He adds, "I've had many times alone with him, and yes, he told me every single detail." Click for more on what we know about the suspects. (More Jeff Bauman stories.)
