(Newser) – If you've ever dreamed of re-enacting scenes from the 1997 Harrison Ford action-thriller Air Force One in real life (and haven't we all? "Get off my plane!"), your time has come. The government is auctioning off a plane that was formerly part of the presidential air fleet and sometimes acted as Air Force One, Gizmodo reports. According to the auction page, the McDonnell Douglas DC9-32 plane, which was in use between 1975 and 2005, "was not the official Air Force One however the various US Presidents had occasion to use it. This particular jet was used most by the first lady's [sic] and congressional delegations." Want to place a bid? You'll need to submit a $50,000 "bid deposit" first.
