Ky. Man Spends the Night in Supermarket, Eats 6 Steaks
Trevor Runyon might not be hungry for a while.   (Mount Washington Police Department)

Never let it be said that Trevor Runyon lacked chutzpah—or an appetite. The Kentucky man was arrested yesterday morning after allegedly sneaking into a grocery store, spending the night there, and throwing himself a frankly ridiculous feast. Surveillance video shows Runyon walking into a ValuMarket before closing time on Sunday and hiding until employees had cleared out, police tell WAVE-TV 3.

When he emerged, the footage shows Runyon cooking and eating six steaks, some shrimp, and an entire birthday cake. He also appears to have gone through 57 cans of Redi-Whip, drank some beer, and smoked some cigarettes. At one point he—to use WAVE-TV 3's phrasing—"went to (the) bathroom on himself," and helped himself to a change of clothes. Finally he climbed up into the rafters and went to sleep. In the morning, firefighters extracted him from his perch, and police took him into custody. (More Trevor Runyon stories.)
