A display full of beautifully preserved fried butter balls. A snack shop serving peanut butter cheese fudge. A theater playing this video of Paula Deen creating the Ladies' Brunch Burger, on an endless loop. Truly, the possibilities are endless when it comes to a Paula Deen Museum. Yes, you read that correctly: The celebrity chef has signed off on a plan to turn her childhood home in Albany, Georgia, into a shrine to All Things Butter (or at least, that's what we'd like it to involve ... Deen herself seems more interested in showcasing her old furniture).

A local businesswoman told the Albany Herald earlier this month, in a story just getting picked up nationally, that she teamed with Paula's ex-husband Jimmy (yes, that's Jimmy Deen; a convenient name to be sure) on the project; a group recently purchased Paula's old home and intends to move forward with museum plans. Says Deen, "It just takes my breath away that folks back in Albany would consider doing something like this." (More Paula Deen stories.)
