British police have arrested a suspect in the killing of four people in the French Alps last year—and it's reportedly the brother of one of the slain men. Zaid al-Hilli, 54, was arrested near London, according to numerous reports. "We felt there were enough reasons to take him into custody," a prosecutor tells the AFP. "We need to ask him questions about his schedule, his relationship with his brother, and the family inheritance."
Al-Hilli's brother, Saad al-Hilli, his wife Iqbal, and his mother Suhaila al-Allaf were all killed last September, along with cyclist Sylvain Mollier. Reports have swirled that Saad al-Hilli was holding $1 billion worth of Saddam Hussein's private fortune when he died, and also indicated that al-Hilli had feuded with his brother over the family inheritance. Saad al-Hilli's 7-year-old daughter, Zainab, had earlier described the "terror" of the attack, which she and her 4-year-old sister survived. (More Alps stories.)
