Indianapolis Colts safety Joe Lefeged was arrested in DC today, after cops pulled over a car he was riding in for speeding, and found a handgun inside. Lefeged, 25, and another passenger were charged with possession of a firearm without a license, possession of an unregistered firearm and unregistered ammunition, having of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and possession of an open container of alcohol, reports CNN. The driver of the car fled and has still not been caught. A source tells CNN that the gun was an H&K .40-caliber semiautomatic pistol belonging to Lefeged, and the booze appeared to be bottles of vodka and orange juice. Lefeged is due in court later today, adds the AP. (More gun charges stories.)
