Prince William and Kate Middleton introduced their long-awaited baby to the world today outside London's St. Mary's Hospital, the AP reports. The couple answered a few questions, with William saying, "we're still working on a name," and "he's got her looks, thankfully." Then William expertly bundled his son, car seat and all, into a waiting car and the family drove off.

In a statement after the birth yesterday, William said simply, "we could not be happier. " Today, he and his family issued a joint statement thanking St. Mary's Hospital for "the tremendous care the three of us have received." Both sets of grandparents were spotted visiting the Lindo Wing today on an all-day live feed of journalists and other commoners awaiting the babe's appearance. Kate's mom Carole Middleton told reporters the baby is "absolutely beautiful," but said she would "absolutely not" reveal his name. Wills and Kate are doing "fabulously," she added, according to ABC News. Prince Charles and wife Camilla visited next, and Charles reported that his grandson is "doing marvelously," CBC reports.
