An Ohio gun group has written George Zimmerman a check so he can buy a new gun. The amount: $12,150.37, the AP reports, via the Repository. The Buckeye Firearms Foundation thinks Zimmerman's rights have been violated, says rep Ken Hanson; the gun that killed Trayvon Martin is being held as the Justice Department investigates. The firearms group is already seeing repercussions from the donation, it says: Its website has been hacked, and members believe it's because of the Zimmerman cash, Fox 28 reports. (Meanwhile, Zimmerman's attorney on Wednesday explained what would ultimately happen to the gun that was used to kill Trayvon Martin.)
