A Goldman Sachs managing director has been charged with raping a 20-year-old woman while vacationing in the Hamptons. The incident allegedly took place in a four-bedroom home that Jason Lee, 37, had rented with his wife, the New York Times reports. So far details are thin; police say they responded to a disturbance and "learned that a 20-year-old woman had been sexually assaulted inside the residence where several people had gathered."
Lee, who works in Goldman's equity capital markets group handling IPOs, appeared in court Wednesday and posted $20,000 bail. He "adamantly denies the allegations," his lawyer says, telling the Times that his client is an "investment bank managing director who has never been in trouble in his life, never accused of any impropriety at all."
