It would be the ultimate honor for an avid Sherlock Holmes fan: having the man himself catch your murderer. Such is the opportunity being offered by author Anthony Horowitz, who is writing his second Sherlock Holmes novel with the blessing of the Conan Doyle estate, reports the Telegraph. He's set up an eBay auction in which the winning bidder will be mentioned in the book. If the bid is at least 5,000 British pounds (about $7,780), the winner will be murdered in grisly fashion, and Holmes will set about solving the case. The proceeds go to a British anti-bullying charity. (More Sherlock Holmes stories.)
