An accident involving a bus, a tractor-trailer, and an SUV has left eight people dead and 14 more injured near Knoxville, Tennessee, reports AP. Local TV station WLVT says it was a church bus from North Carolina that caused the accident on I-40. The bus crossed the median and hit the other two vehicles before overturning, says a state transportation official. The tractor-trailer then caught fire. CNN says the bus driver lost control when a front tire blew out. (Read more Tennessee stories.)
