Maybe this Christian Grey will be more popular with Fifty Shades fans? Actor and former Calvin Klein model Jamie Dornan has been selected to replace Charlie Hunnam, who dropped out of the movie adaptation of the popular book last week. Dornan, 31, stars in a UK television series (The Fall), but if you live in the US, you might recognize him as the sheriff/huntsman from ABC's Once Upon a Time. (Other identifying fact: He dated Keira Knightley for two years.) He's already been tested with Dakota Johnson, who will play female lead Anastasia Steele, and multiple sources including the Hollywood Reporter and Variety are reporting he's in negotiations, though there's no official word from the studio yet.

Hunnam's official reason for dropping the movie is that he had a scheduling conflict, but sources say he was actually uncomfortable with what THR refers to as the "frenzy" surrounding the film (Universal actually had to hire bodyguards for Hunnam at one point). Rabid fans of the book were quite displeased with the casting choices. (More 50 Shades of Grey stories.)
