Flight attendants struggling with an unruly passenger on a flight to South America got some backup from New York Mets relief pitcher LaTroy Hawkins. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound pitcher and a couple of buddies helped bundle the man into a seat and hold him down as restraints were applied. "We had to subdue a guy who was upset about not being able to sit in an open seat in business class," Hawkins tells the New York Daily News. "He and a flight attendant started wrestling and fell into my lap. The (flight attendant) said he needed help." Hawkins, who was on his way to a dove hunting trip in Argentina, helped remove the passenger from the plane at an emergency stop in Lima. (More LaTroy Hawkins stories.)
