Drew Peterson Wants to Lie Test on TV
A undated photo provided by the Illinois State Police shows Stacy Ann Peterson, 23, of Bolingbrook, Ill. Peterson is the wife of a Bolingbrook police sergeant who was last heard from on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, when she failed to show at an appointment to help a family member paint and rehab a house....   (Associated Press)

After repeatedly refusing requests from the family of his missing wife that he submit to a polygraph test, suspect Drew Peterson is now requesting to do so on national television. Representatives for the former Chicago-area policeman—whose wife, Stacy, has been missing since October and is presumed dead—have been in contact with producers from Moment of Truth.

Drew Peterson insists Stacy—his fourth wife—simply ran off with another man, Fox News reports. Peterson's third wife also died under mysterious circumstances, found dead in a bathtub in 2004. The death was recently reclassified as "homicide staged to look like an accident" after authorities exhumed Kathleen Savio's body for another look. (More Stacy Peterson stories.)
