If, for some reason, you've ever wished you could have experienced what it was like to go down on the sinking Titanic ... well, soon that strange dream can come true. A theme park being built in China will feature a life-sized replica of the doomed ship, and it will "hit" an iceberg, Reuters reports. "When the ship hits the iceberg, it will shake, it will tumble," says the CEO of the group that funded the project, and his quote about the shipwreck simulation just gets better. "We will let people experience water coming in by using sound and light effects ... They will think, 'The water will drown me, I must escape with my life.'"

The New York Times reports that the $165 million ship will anchor the Romandisea Seven Star International Cultural Tourism Resort, which will also feature marvels like a man-made beach (the park will sit 930 miles from the nearest ocean), replicas of European castles, and a "6D" movie theater. It's expected to open in 2016, and harness what the Times calls China's "immense fascination" with the Titanic disaster. Construction on the replica will start this year. (Another Titanic replica is also in the works—and this one you'll be able to sail on.)
