Hello, Windy City.   (AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster, File)

Don't expect the tourist board to brag about it, but Chicago has been named the most popular city in America—for bedbugs. Pest control company Orkin has awarded the city the distinction for the second year in a row, despite the city council's efforts to boost detection and treatment measures, reports the Chicago Tribune. Los Angeles came second on the list of cities where Orkin does the most bedbug business, followed by Columbus, Detroit, and Cincinnati, Crain's reports. New York City continued its slide down the rankings, coming in at 17th. (As infestations rise, exterminators have found a new tool to combat the bloodsuckers—beagles.)
