Hoffman's Will Contains One Unusual Request

Philip Seymour Hoffman's will seems pretty standard—the bulk of his estate was left to longtime partner Mimi O'Donnell—but it does include one unusual request, the New York Post reports: He wanted his son Cooper, then his only child, to "be raised and reside in or near" Manhattan, Chicago, or San Francisco, Hoffman wrote, "so that my son will be exposed to the culture, arts, and architecture that such cities offer." The will was drawn up in 2004, when Cooper was just a year old. Hoffman and O'Donnell later had two daughters, now ages 7 and 5. The will also asks that, if Cooper couldn't be raised in any of those three cities, he at least visit them twice per year, TMZ reports. (More Philip Seymour Hoffman stories.)
