Michaela Wells, the 16-year-old beauty queen who vanished Sunday night while taking out the trash at her parents' Nebraska home, was found safe last night in Indiana, police tell Fox News. Wells, winner of last year's USA National Miss Nebraska Teen competition, was found about 600 miles from home in the town of Lawrence, reports WISH-TV. She is in good condition, and police say the investigation is ongoing.

No word on why she was in the town, who she was with, or if she went there voluntarily. Her mother describes "relief and excitement all in one" at the news—and says she plans to make her daughter her favorite snack upon return: PB&J. (More Michaela Wells stories.)
