Veteran comedian John Pinette has been found dead in a Pittsburgh hotel room. He was 50 years old. The comic, best known for his appearance as an overweight mugging victim in the final episode of Seinfeld, died of a pulmonary embolism, his manager tells the Hollywood Reporter. Pinette, a regular on the comedy touring circuit and at festivals like Montreal's Just for Laughs, often joked about his own weight in stand-up performances with titles like "Show Me the Buffett," and "Still Hungry," USA Today reports. He was working on another project when he died, and "should be celebrated for the amazing comedian he was," his agent says. (More John Pinette stories.)
