4 Kidnapped Journalists Freed in Syria After 10 Months

They were found blindfolded and with their hands bound, but four French journalists are free today 10 months after being kidnapped in Syria, reports Reuters. All are in "good health, in spite of the very grueling conditions of their captivity," said French President Francois Hollande in a statement. Nicolas Henin, Pierre Torres, Edouard Elias, and Didier Francois were kidnapped in June by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, but members of another group brought them to the Turkish border last night, reports al-Jazeera.
